Resin articles are made using a pre-activated clear polyester resin and are hand-crafted by local people. The process is extremely involved and time-consuming and it has taken more than 18 years to master the intracacies. No two items are identical and final polishing is done by hand in the villages. Wild flowers are picked on the veldt but care is taken not to over-harvest. Helichrysums, various beans (lucky, blue and red), grasses and sedges as well as common beetles collected from roses and protea heads feature in the designs. We have recently introduced dried fruit and shells.
