Silks |
Valued for its durability, the light, floating weave has been achieved by combining the unique indigenous silk (BOROCERA) which grows wild in the forests with domestically raised silk. This combination of silks gives a supple, soft fabric with a unique texture. Each throw is individually dyed and hand- embroidered for a unique ‘one-of-a-kind’ creation. All steps in silk processing are done entirely by hand by weaving families who have practised the art for generations
